The four movements of the 2nd Piano Sonata are all inspired by masks and those of the Commedia dell'Arte characters in particular: 1. Masked Procession, 2 . Grotesques, 3 . Columbine and 4. Harlequin . The total length of the Sonata is about 17 minutes but all of the movements can be played separately if desired. Of moderate difficulty. 8 pages, paper covers.
